Earlier this week Tara visited Dana Farber Cancer Institute and received the wonderful news that her MRI results came back clear! She is ready to advance to cycle 41 of her clinical trial. Additionally, Tara has been seizure/episode free for over one year.
Tara continues to inspire us all with her positive attitude and incredible drive to beat brain cancer. As you may have seen from our recent post, Tara aspires to become a full-time nurse and recently started to volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House of Boston, which serves as a “home-away-from-home” for children with cancer and their families. As an essential part of their overall care, the House provides its guests with low-cost and convenient accommodations in a safe and comfortable home-like setting.
We are honored to have such a remarkable person like Tara in our lives.
