[With your support, HSF has been privileged to assist Remy Tufts in his fight against leukemia. The following update was shared by Remy’s mom, Julie.]
We are happy to report that Remy has been doing great! He loves school and has adjusted well to the long days and crazy schedule of school and treatment. He’s loving doing all the things he was not able to do last year while he was out of school for treatment (birthday parties and school dances). His school celebrated childhood cancer awareness by going gold for one day in September and members of the Jimmy Fund Clinic came to his class to do a puppet show to teach the kids about Leukemia and Remy’s treatment.
We decided to take on street hockey as a family activity and Remy loves it. Skating is bit of a challenge but he keeps trying.
And more importantly… Halloween is coming and Remy LOVES to dress up. So he’s been very excited to dress up as a Stormtrooper.
