On Friday, December 19th, Hope Strengthens Foundation delivered donated items to families at the Fisher House at the VA medical center in Palo Alto, CA. Fisher House Foundation provides military families housing close to a loved one during hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury. These homes are located at major military and VA medical centers nationwide, close to the medical center or hospital they serve.
This delivery was a part of a national effort in partnership with the nonprofit, Council for a Strong America (CSA) and their annual giving campaign. This year, CSA team members chose to support existing Fisher Houses across the nation.
In addition to donating “wish list” items, Hope Strengthens Foundation partnered with CSA to provide a $1,000 donation, matching funds raised by employees in support of Fisher Houses nationwide.
