Last year, Hope Strengthens Foundation (HSF) was privileged to establish a partnership with Home Base, a national nonprofit dedicated to healing the invisible wounds of war for veterans of all eras, service members, military families and families of the fallen.
Since 2009, Home Base has provided world-class, direct clinical care, wellness, education and research – all at no cost – to more than 35,000 of the most injured veterans, service members, and their families.
Longtime HSF donor and Advisory Board member, Jim Clancy, his wife Tricia, and their family made a significant, multi-year commitment to fund the advancement of our partnership with Home Base. The first phase of their gift will contribute towards the expansion of the Home Base Brain Health Performance Suite.
Programming at the facility will include treatment and care coordination for post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, depression, anxiety, and musculoskeletal injuries. When it opens this fall, the Home Base Brain Health Performance Suite will include an examination room named in loving memory of Jim’s parents, James and Marie.
We are humbled by the leadership and generosity of Jim, Tricia, and the entire Clancy family. Their support of HSF and Home Base will deliver lifesaving clinical care and offer a brighter future for our veterans and their families.
