Tara enjoyed a quiet Christmas and was pleased to see some snow! She saw the nurse practitioner at Dana Farber Cancer Institute on THursday. Her blood count is still not at a level required to start back on the trial medication. She will take another “week off” and have labs again next Thursday. Everyone is hoping that the numbers will be up again so she can resume with the normal dosage but if it is still down, the dose will be altered. In the meantime, Tara continues to get plenty of rest while hydrating and eating well. Her positive attitude and fighting spirit remains as strong as ever. Tara is ready to stary back on the trial meds as soon as she is cleared to do so.
