Last month, Hope Strengthens Foundation (HSF) delivered our latest contribution to a fund established at the Seacoast Cancer Center (soon to be Mass General Cancer Center at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital). Resources dedicated to the fund directly support current cancer patients and the wellness of survivors who have completed their treatments.
The fund was established in memory of Jack and Joanne Lynch, the parents of longtime HSF supporter, Chris Lynch. Jack and Joanne were powerful influences on the lives of HSF’s co-founders, Jim and Jake. Jack was a Vietnam veteran and commercial airline pilot. Joanne was a teacher and community leader. They were parents of three talented boys and grandparents to six beautiful children.
Jack received exceptional care during his treatment at Seacoast Cancer Center and Chris’s wife Heather works at the hospital as an RN and “Nurse Navigator” who helps educate and guide patients through their full continuum of care, from diagnosis and treatment through to survivorship.
