As we approach the new year, we’ve been looking back with heartfelt gratitude for your incredible generosity. The work we accomplish is simply not possible without your support.
Early this year, we launched a new short film and website to help raise awareness and support for the inspirational individuals and families we are privileged to assist.
This includes support for Billy Dunn, Jr., Shelly Yukich, and Neil Hajjar.
As the year progressed, we were honored to establish a new partnership with Seacoast Cancer Center at Mass General Brigham Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and contribute to a patient fund established for cancer survivorship, support, and wellness.
This was especially meaningful since the partnership was established in memory of Jack and Joanne Lynch, the parents of longtime friend and Hope Strengthens supporter, Chris Lynch.
Thanks to your support, we also successfully expanded existing partnerships with Martin-O’Neil Cancer Center and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Pediatric Resource Program.
Collectively, these alliances with hospital patient service programs allowed us to deliver targeted support to dozens more families over this past year.
In addition, we awarded our ninth scholarship in the memory of our first beneficiary, Ally Smith. A deserving senior at Walpole High School, who personifies Ally’s qualities, will receive financial support to pursue health studies in college.
Thanks to the awesome support of long-time donor Loukas Nakos and his family, we delivered our second round of scholarships at the University of New Hampshire College of Health and Human Services to provide need-based support to junior and senior undergraduates, with a preference for first generation college students.
We also funded our second round of scholarships at Northeastern University’s Bouvé College of Health Sciences, School of Nursing, supporting first generation college students who are excelling in their studies.
With your continued support, we will be able to strengthen partnerships, sustain scholarship programs, and prepare to help many more people facing a life-threatening illness, disability, or recovery from traumatic injuries in 2023 and beyond.
We’d be honored if you’d be willing to make a tax-deductible donation to Hope Strengthens Foundation before the end of the year.
Charitable donations can take many forms: cash, stock transfers, donor-advised funds, and rollover IRA’s, to name a few. If you prefer, we’d be honored to discuss planned giving with you as well.
If you are able to make a donation, we’d respectfully recommend checking if your company has a match program, which can further the impact of your generosity.
Thanks again for your dedicated support and we wish you and your loved ones a safe and Happy New Year!
